On September 10, 1954, Jesús María Huerta Garicano , magistrate of the Provincial Court of Valencia, was born .
After obtaining a law degree, at only 23 years old in April 1978, he was admitted to the examinations for District Judge , which he ended up winning. Belonging, in September 1979, to the body of district attorneys of the Lugo Group, occupying a position in Court No. 1 of Sarriá, he requested a leave of absence to attend new examinations.
As a judge he served in various positions, although he very soon rose to the rank of magistrate. He is a magistrate of the Provincial Court of Valencia and, in several of the issues in which he has intervened with a political or media background, he has always concentrated on his judicial function, thus Fax Lists presiding over the Chamber that tried the accused in the main piece of the so-called Case Emarsa , the looting at the Pinedo treatment plant did not consent to a third postponement of the trial due to the non-appearance of one of the defenders and the trial was held against all the accused who had appeared with a lawyer. One of his sisters, Inés María Huerta Garicano , retired due to age, on March 27, 2023, was a judge of the 3rd Chamber of Administrative Litigation, professor of Procedural Law at the Pontifical University of Comillas and the Faculty of Law of the University Autonomous of Madrid. She has published many legal works.
