Fox smiled as her old friend Snow on the mountains approached once again. "Fox, you have said time is testing us, but until we find a place to worship the moon, we can not settle here and the queens are getting edgy about letting their kits out and the apprentices want to leave the makeshift camp which the warriors are debating to demolish to build as proper one but I can't say yes until we have a place to worship the moon!" snow snarled angrily. Fox was taken aback by Snow's anger. "Calm down my friend, I have been working hard to prepare a place for your worship, so please restrain from snapping at me again" Fox meowed calmly. She jumped up and signalled for her friend to come. She raced up a to a trail that was blocked.
"What is this Fox, we have had apprentices search up here and it is muddy and littered with unstable boulders!" Snow demanded, catching up to her friend. "It used to me" Fox grinned. She pushed the boulder aside to reveal a wonderful path, bordered by blue ice rivers. "Come on!" Fox grinned, getting slightly exited. She bounded up the path. "This used to be a stairway built by an ancient human tribe but they were wiped out by wolves and cougars but then the cougars left for the other mountains" Fox shrugged. "It took me ages to wear down the stairs" She groaned. Snow looked at the path in wonder. "Fox... Your a legend" She shook her head in disbelief. "I'm so sorry!" She burst out. "I should have been more respectful!" She whimpered, bowing her head. "It's ok, your stressed" Fox smiled, using her tail to lift Snow's head.
Fox took her up a long winding path until they came to a clearing. The clearing was lush with arctic moss. "Oh wow" Snow on mountain breathed in the scent. She walked to the hedge and jumped back. "Cold!" She gasped, rubbing her nose. "Yeah... Blue ice is cold" Fox smiled in a apologetic manner. "come on" She grinned, leading her through an arch in the ice to a little pool stood over by what looked like a huge version of the guardian tree. "This is your moon temple!" Fox meowed proudly.
Snow looked around awed. There was a huge quarts crystal in the heart of the clearing and it was on a platform of blue and green slate with smaller chips of quarts around the edge. "Look around the edge!" Fox giggled, clearly enjoying herself very much. Snow gasped as she saw flecks of bright ruby around the edge. "The people who built this worshipped the moon and thought if was guarded by fire" Fox grinned. "So they built this place and built huge statues of cougars to of ruby, a bright red stone" Fox smiled, waving her tail to the cat statues.
Snow and Fox went back to the tribe "We have found a Moon cave and we can make a real camp and allow the apprentices and kits outside!" Snow announced proudly.
