"The wolves are coming!" Screeched one of the cats. She was snow white however, a dark red scar wove down her side. She lunged towards the lead wolf as her tribe followed her into battle. An apprentice's cry was cut off as a wolf was pinned by an older cat. The apprentice called something in a terrified voice. "It is a Fire cat!" He screeched in terror. He crouched at the Ginger cats feet in terror.
The ginger cat licked the apprentice gently and pounced on the nearest wolf, killing it with practised ease. The warriors soon started to pick up the technique and the wolves started to run towards the valley. The lead wolf lingered. He pinned the White she cat who had started the battle and lunged to bite her. The ginger cat knocked him but he was strong and the blow only caused him to miss his target and he landed a powerful blow on her shoulder, leaving her writhing in pain. He turned to the ginger cat and raked his teeth down one side of her skull, shredding her ear and leaving the eye blind. The ginger cat didn't falter nor did she hesitate in killing the wolf as he fled.
The tribe gathered round the leader. The ginger cat approached and the flinched away. Blood was caked into the fur on the side the wolf had bit. The she cat listened to the conversation silently until she realised what they were debating and why they kept looking at the white cat. "No!" She shrieked fiercely, leaping to defend the white cat. "I can't believe you would consider killing this cat. Her shoulder is damaged, but look at your truly! You don't consider killing me. I don't care if you say it would be merciful, None of you matched her, not for a single second, not even a single blow! She was braver than all of you combined!" She snarled. With a roar of disbelief and rage she called forth a glacier, blocking the wolves from coming over into the valley the tribes were staying in.
"You will stay in the mountains, I will look over you and never, ever shall you kill a cat lest you face my wraith!" She snarled, crouching over the white cat as protective as ever. "She will surly die, you can feel the life slipping away. "I know... But you will not kill her. Let her go, don't cut her off" the ginger cat instructed. The white cat staggered to her feet and washed weakly in the stream. She limped till she was under a oddly shaped tree. It had a strange spiral and was covered in cherry blossoms. "We stay here. This tree is the Guardian of the tribes... Until we find a moon tribe, this will be our deity. and even after we do, we shall leave offerings here and treat any saplings with endless respect" She declared. As if in sympathy it started to rain. The leaves caught the water until it dripped of the tree onto the she cats wounds. A faint glow emitted from the wound until it healed over. The cat raised and grinned. "By some miracle, The wound i received has healed and I am re-energised and revitalised" She grinned. "Oh kind cat who saved me, what is your name?" the white cat demanded. "I am Fox" The ginger cat replied. "And you have settled in the mountains"
